Third-year students can receive credit for either a maximum of one eight-week core clerkship or two four-week clinical electives as a visiting student at an LCME-accredited medical school outside the consortium before returning to Houston if they adhere to the posted guidelines. ERAS is finalizing procedures to assist Tulane with its ERAS processing for residency applicants. Information will be posted on the AAMC Web site as available. Procedures for establishing ERAS processing for LSU residency applicants have not yet been determined, but will be announced as soon as this information is available.
