Resident/Student Resources: EM Internet Resources

Welcome to the AAEM website section on internet resources! It is our ambitious goal to provide the one of the most extensive lists of available resources for those interested in emergency medicine.

To facilitate navigation, we have organized the links into the following main categories.

Basic Sciences: These resources focus on the material covered in the first 2-years of medical school. They are not specific to emergency medicine, may help build the foundation that will be needed in subsequent studies.

Clinical Resources: These resources cover the clinical rotations in medical school as well as information pertinent to the practicing emergency physician. Because of the clinical breadth encountered in the emergency department, we have included a wide range of information from various specialties, as well as resources specific to emergency medicine.

Residency Program Resources: A list of resources to help you get into an emergency medicine residency program. Includes links to residency programs, and general tips and advice about the application process.

Emergency Medicine Topics of Interest: This section includes links to various resources that are pertinent to the practice of emergency medicine, but not entirely clinically oriented. Content ranges from current hot policy-oriented topics and management issues, to broader discussions on clinical implementations and training.
